As data continues to emerge around high school graduation and college enrollment trends amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it is clear that young people are facing unprecedented challenges when it comes to postsecondary transitions. With this urgent landscape top of mind, Strada Education Network, Baltimore City Public Schools, and the Linked Learning Alliance came together at the National College Attainment Network’s 2021 Rebuilding for Postsecondary Equity Conference to discuss possible paths forward.

Linked Learning pathways, regardless of industry theme, are preparing young people to succeed in the workforce. Even as COVID-19 begins to recede in some of our communities, it is clear that the healthcare industry is still growing and seeking highly skilled workers that represent the communities they serve. Linked Learning is preparing young people to step into these roles, in part thanks to the example set by the Oakland Health Pathways Project.
