Save the Date: Linked Learning Institute

October 24, 2019 | Anne Stanton

Every year, the Linked Learning field comes together to learn, collaborate, and create connections that help make learning matter for every student, school, and community. Last March at the 2019 convention, I was thrilled to announce the first twelve pathways to become Gold certified, along with the Alliance's ambitious new goal: to have one million students in Gold certified pathways by the year 2030.

We know how important quality is to ensuring excellence and equity in delivering effective Linked Learning implementation, and we understand your appetite for practical, hands-on information that can help you advance educational opportunity in your communities. And happily, the body of research, resources, and supports available for Linked Learning practitioners has never been greater. With all this in mind, I'm excited to share a heightened approach to convening in 2020.

In lieu of an annual convention next spring, the Linked Learning Alliance will host a content-reach Linked Learning Institute—designed to support practitioners, as well as school and district leaders, in scaling and sustaining systemic strategies that enrich communities and keep learning relevant for students. Experienced capacity builders and leaders from the Linked Learning field will facilitate the sessions, drawing on current research and featuring opportunities for participants to share knowledge and learn from others deeply engaged in the work.

Please save the date. We hope you'll make time to join your peers in learning and growing together, in a strong and cohesive effort to propel the Linked Learning movement forward!
