State Budget News
Gov. Newsom signs state budget with record funding for education, EdSource
California Governor Gavin Newsom officially signed the State Budget last night, guaranteeing $500 million dollars to the Golden State Pathways program. The funding also includes an expansion of the Cal Grant, a 13% increase in the TK-12 general funding formula, and more.


K-12 Equity

There can often be mismatches with Black students' performance in math regarding a teacher's lower expectations of those students, compared with the higher expectations the students put on themselves.
