Earlier this month, the Linked Learning Alliance convened three school districts at the forefront of this work: Los Angeles Unified School District, Pasadena Unified School District, and Antelope Valley Union High School District.

Last Friday afternoon, two years of advocacy for California’s young people came to fruition with the release of $470 million to 302 local educational agencies (LEAs) preparing to deliver powerful, career-integrated, college-preparatory learning as part of the historic Golden State Pathways Program (GSPP).

The Linked Learning Alliance is pleased to share that the California Department of Education is now requesting applications for the second round of Golden State Pathways Program grants. These grants will fuel the work of school districts and other local education agencies as they collaborate across their regions, developing college and career pathways that equitably prepare young people for success in the high-wage, high-growth fields of today and tomorrow.

At the Alliance, we enter 2024 with fresh hope and determination. As always, we’re firmly dedicated to making sure more young people connect their passions to their purpose, their purpose to their power.
