The Linked Learning field is gaining momentum like never before. Dozens of schools and districts have committed to making Linked Learning a district-wide improvement strategy and are participating in the new AB 790 Linked Learning Pilot Program. They join other schools and districts that have been implementing Linked Learning for years. Combined, they serve more than one third of the state’s high school students. We want each of these students to have high quality Linked Learning experiences so they will be well prepared for college, career and life.
This convening provided an excellent opportunity to learn how you can help improve Linked Learning policy and practice. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from dynamic speakers and participate in hands-on workshops where you can learn from experts in the field and collaborate with your peers. During the convening, attendees discussed ways to:
- Advance state Linked Learning policy
- Strengthen district-wide Linked Learning implementation strategies
- Foster public support for Linked Learning pathways
- Enhance work-based learning opportunities and employer engagement efforts
