The Linked Learning Alliance is seeking nominations for 2014 Linked Learning Champions in three categories – Educator Champion, Employer Champion, and Policy Champion – to recognize individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment, leadership, and success in implementing and expanding quality Linked Learning opportunities for students in California.
Characteristics of a Linked Learning Champion:
The Linked Learning Policy Champion award recognizes public officials who have made outstanding contributions to advance student access to the Linked Learning approach in California.
The Linked Learning Employer Champion award recognizes employers that have shown extraordinary leadership by advising Linked Learning pathways and / or providing work-based learning opportunities to Linked Learning students, and have encouraged other employers to similarly get involved.
The Linked Learning Educator Champion award recognizes a teacher, principal, district superintendent, or school board member that has demonstrated exemplary leadership in offering students high quality Linked Learning opportunities.
The awards for Linked Learning Employer, Educator, and Policy Champions will be presented at the 2014 Linked Learning Alliance Spring Convening. Self-nominations or nominations for others are equally welcome and encouraged.
