Quality is key to Linked Learning experiences that prepare students to succeed in college and career. The three levels of Linked Learning Certification support a cycle of continuous learning and improvement for Linked Learning pathways by offering independent evaluation and verification of high-quality work based on proven standards of effectiveness.
Gold certification represents the highest quality standard for Linked Learning pathways. It brings valued public recognition for the exemplary work being done by Linked Learning pathway staff, students, and partners.
The Linked Learning Gold CertificationTM standards emphasize college and career learning experiences and equitable outcomes for all students. They were developed and tested by teachers, counselors, administrators, and students in Linked Learning pathways, and with input from technical assistance providers, educational equity experts, and industry and post-secondary partners. They emphasize cross-subject, student-centered learning with strong career and postsecondary integration, combined with student supports that ensure equitable opportunities for all students.
