Earlier this month, the Linked Learning Alliance convened three school districts at the forefront of this work: Los Angeles Unified School District, Pasadena Unified School District, and Antelope Valley Union High School District.
Nearly 2,000 Linked Learning students across California share what’s working—and what’s next—for college and career readiness. Their voices point the way toward more relevant, connected, and equitable high school experiences statewide.
The Linked Learning Alliance, alongside six partner districts, has been selected for California’s $10 million Secondary School Redesign Pilot Program—an initiative that affirms Linked Learning as a leading, evidence-based approach to transforming middle and high schools. Through this multi-year effort, districts will receive support to strengthen pathways, pursue Gold Certification, and elevate student-centered practices grounded in belonging, engagement, and durable skills. As Linked Learning approaches its 20th anniversary, this pilot offers a powerful opportunity to shape the future of secondary education across California.
