Announcing the 2023 Linked Learning Conference Keynote Speakers

The Linked Learning Alliance is proud to announce Dr. Amy Loyd and Dr. Linda Darling-Hammond as the 2023 Linked Learning Conference Keynote Speakers.

Both Dr. Loyd and Dr. Darling-Hammond have deep experience developing solutions for how schools and communities can create pathways that lead to transformational change and deepen educational, economic, and social equity for all young people. We are honored to have them speak at this year's Linked Learning conference, Our Golden Opportunity: Creating Coherence in College & Career Readiness. Dr. Amy Loyd, Ed.L.D., is the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education at the U.S. Department of Education. Prior to joining the Biden-Harris Administration, Dr. Loyd was a Vice President at Jobs for the Future (JFF), where she designed and led programs across the United States that improve education and workforce outcomes. She previously was the Director of Education at Cook Inlet Tribal Council, leading a network of schools providing culturally responsive education, training, and wraparound services to the Alaska Native and Native American communities.

Dr. Linda Darling-Hammond is the Charles E. Ducommun Professor of Education Emeritus at Stanford University and founding president of the Learning Policy Institute. She is past president of the American Educational Research Association and author of more than 30 books and 600 other publications on educational quality and equity, including the award-winning book The Flat World and Education: How America’s Commitment to Equity Will Determine Our Future. In 2019, Dr. Darling-Hammond was appointed President of the California State Board of Education.
