Policy

The Linked Learning field is on track to help create a prepared workforce of the future in California, ready to succeed in college, career, and life. The Linked Learning Alliance aims to build a collective voice and coordinate efforts to expand access for California’s young people to Linked Learning.

As the Linked Learning approach continues to gain momentum in California, the Alliance works together as a group of educators, policymakers, state agencies, business and industry leaders, districts, and higher education institutions to bring the benefits of Linked Learning to more students by promoting policy that will ensure future sustainability of the approach.

New policy opportunities to further develop California’s support system for Linked Learning continue to emerge. Links to proposed legislation and state laws are below, as well as links to several relevant Linked Learning policy reports.

Many school districts across the state are implementing the Linked Learning approach through the Linked Learning District Initiative and as part of the Linked Learning Pilot Program. Below are links to lists of participating school districts broken down by California State Assembly and California State Senate districts.
