Jennifer Louie

Jennifer is the Advocacy Program Manager for the Linked Learning Alliance. With thirteen years of experience in the legislature, Jennifer is an expert in education policy and has influenced initiatives related to school choice, foster care services for children, charter schools, higher-education affordability, and access to early education and child care resources for California’s working families. Prior to joining Capitol Impact, she served as the Budget Consultant on state education financing and the Appropriations Consultant for Higher Education in the Assembly Republican Caucus. She has also served as a legislative staff member in the Assembly and Senate for the late Sharon Runner, George Runner and Tony Strickland. Jennifer’s contributions in public service and education policy was recently recognized by the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs (NAAPPPA) for the top 40 AAPI political operatives and public affairs professionals under 40 for 2018. She holds a Bachelor of the Arts in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Jennifer enjoys travelling with her husband, Ryan, watching British TV shows, collecting English teapots, and baking chocolate chip cookies.
