Establishes a pilot project to serve as a model of articulation and coordination between K-12 schools, community colleges and campuses of the CSU system. The pilot would allow students to earn a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline for a total cost not exceeding $10,000 in tuition fees. Would include, but not be limited to, students who participate in concurrent enrollment in high school and community college courses. Would permit priority enrollment in to participating students enrolled full-time at a participating community college, as well as requiring admission to a participating CSU campus in the summer or fall term following completion of studies at the community college. Encourages the development of credit-bearing summer internships as part of the pilot program, as well as dual credit opportunities at the high school level.
